I am a lifelong dog/animal lover. I have spent my entire life (nearly) helping animals in need. Whether it was an injured small bird or possum or other domestic and wildlife, I would immediately figure out how to get them help.
In 2015 I established my 501c3 Nonprofit Dog Rescue where we continue to help those who need help most. On most days you can find me nursing ill, injured dogs back to health so that they can find their right forever homes and get their second chance at happy ever after.
Prometheus is one of these shelter dogs who needed rescue most. His size and dominant breeds makeup, as well as the congenital abnormalities in his rear legs left him little to no options for rescue interest, much less adoption interest while at the shelter.
As it turns out, Delaney’s Dog was the only rescue group willing and ready to save his life. And so we did.
Prometheus is a gentle giant who is kind even to the smallest of dogs. He has a very even natured temperament yet can be stubborn when he wants to ☺
