On Jan 4th we were contacted by a woman who networks to help rescue dogs in Tijuana and was made aware of this sweet boy who had been abandoned in the years of an empty house for over 3 months. Another gentleman who helps rescue animals made her aware of him as he was going to feed him every day. Rocky is believed to be 5 years old, is likely a distemper survivor and is suffering from Ehrlichiosis which is a bacterial disease caused by ticks. when left untreated it causes a host of other medical problems. He also has had shards of chicken bone embedded in the inside of his mouth and gums causing him sever pain and swelling……

Rocky has distemper myoclonus (constant contractions of the jaw) causing gum recession and bone loss….

Ultimately we want what is best for Rocky, for him to be happy and to fell good. The next 30 days will be telling as to what steps we take next. To find Rocky his forever home would be the ultimate gift for this boy.
